ducation is very important now-a-days. Nobody can get success without education. It broadens our way of thinking. It also helps us to become a useful person of society. If we are educated, we can make our country progress.

آجکل تعلیم بہت اہم ہے۔ کوئی بھی بنا تعلیم کے کامیاب نہیں ہو سکتا۔ یہ ہمار ے سوچنے سمجھنے کے طریقہ کار میں وسعت پیدا کرتی ہے۔ یہ ہمیں معاشرے کا کار آمد فرد بننے میں مدد دیتی ہے۔ اگر ہم تعلیم یافتہ ہوں، تو ہم اپنے ملک کو ترقی یافتہ بنا سکتے ہیں۔

There are three important types of education. (1) General Education (2) Moral Education and (3) Technical Education. General education is the basic education which simply makes us an educated person. For example it teaches us how to read and write. The second type of education is moral education, which grooms our personality. For example it teaches us how to live and behave in a society. And the third type of education is technical education which teaches us how to earn our bread and butter. For example, it teaches a person how to construct a house. So, a person can build other’s house and can get money in return.

تعلیم کی تین اہم اقسام ہیں۔ (1) عام تعلیم (2) اخلاقی تعلیم اور (3) تکنیکی تعلیم۔ عام تعلیم بنیادی تعلیم ہے جو عام طور ہمیں ایک تعلیم یافتہ شخص بناتی ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر یہ ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ لکھنا اور پڑھنا کیسے ہے۔ دوسری قسم اخلاقی تعلیم ہے جو ہماری شخصیت کو نکھارتی ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر یہ ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ معاشرے میں کیسے رہنا اور دوسروں کے ساتھ برتاو کیسے کرناہے۔ اور تیسری قسم تکنیکی تعلیم ہے جو سکھاتی ہے کہ ہمیں اپنی روزی روٹی کیسے کمانی ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر یہ سکھاتی ہے کہ ہمیں مکان کیسے بنانا ہے۔ اس طرح ایک شخص دوسروں کے لیے مکان تعمیر کر کے پیسے کما سکتاہے۔

We live in the age of machines. Almost everybody use machines in homes, offices, schools, colleges, factories etc. For example we use car/motorbike/air plane/ bullet trains to travel long distance, which saves our time. We use electronic gadgets for communication/information and entertainment. We use cranes to lift heavy things. All this have become possible due to technical education.  So, in order to develop, operate and maintain these machines, we need technical experts. Only technical education can produce such skilled personals.  This is why technical education has become important in our country.

ہم مشینی دور میں رہتے ہیں۔ تقریبا ہر کوئی  گھروں، دفاتر، اسکول، کالج اور صنعتوں و فیکٹریوں  میں  مشینوں کا استعمال کرتا ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر ہم  لمبا سفر طے کرنے کے لیے گاڑی، موٹر سائیکل، ہوائی جہاز اور تیز رفاتر ریل گاڑی  استعمال کرتے ہیں جس سے ہمارا    وقت بچتا ہے۔  ہم  رابطے ، معلومات حاصل کرنے اور تفریح وغیرہ کے لیے برقی آلات استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ ہم بھاری اشیاء اٹھانے کے لیے کرین استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ یہ تمام تکینکی تعلیم کی بدولت ممکن ہوا ہے۔ اس لیے ایسی مشینوں کو بنانے، چلانے اور  ان کو بحال رکھنے کے لیے ہمیں تکنیکی ماہرین کی ضرورت ہے۔  صرف تکینکی تعلیم ہی ایسے ہنر مند افراد پیدا کر سکتی ہے۔ اسی وجہ سے ہمارے ملک میں تکنیکی تعلیم کی اہمیت بڑھ گئی ہے۔

Pakistan is an agricultural country and technical education can play an important role in agricultural development. Using modern technology and methods we can enhance cultivation which can ultimately increase our agricultural production. It can happen only if we have skilled people.

پاکستان ایک زرعی ملک ہے اور  تکنیکی تعلیم زرعی ترقی میں اہم کردار ادا کرسکتی ہے۔ جدید ٹیکنالوجی اور  طریقوں کو  استعمال کرکے  ہم کاشت کاری کو بہتر بنا سکتے ہیں جو بالآخر ہماری زرعی پیداورا کو بڑھا سکتی ہے۔ یہ اسی قت ممکن ہے جب ہمارے پاس ہنر مند افراد ہوں گے۔

So, it is the dire need of time to motivate youngsters to get technical education. Government of Pakistan and Private Sector has set up technical colleges and universities, from where students can get technical education.  But these colleges and universities are very few in numbers. Government should take steps to setup more and more technical colleges and universities which could fulfill future needs.

اب یہ وقت کی ضرورت ہے کہ نوجوانوں کو تکنیکی تعلیم حاصل کرنے کی طرف راغب کیا جائے۔ حکومتِ  پاکستان اور نجی  شعبوں نے تکنیکی  کالج اور جامعات (یونیورسٹیز) قائم کیے ہیں جہاں ہر طلبہ تکنیکی تعلیم حاصل کرسکتے ہیں۔ لیکن یہ کالج اور جامعات  تعداد میں بہت کم ہیں۔ حکومت کو چاہیے کہ مزید تکنیکی کالج اور جامعات (یونیورسٹیز)  قائم کرے جو  مستقبل کی ضروریات کو پورا کر سکیں۔

cience is a great blessing for human life. It has changed the ways of living and made it comfortable, fast and beautiful. Because of scientific inventions we are able to win over time and distance. Now we can travel long distances in short period of time with safety and comfort because of fast means of traveling such as air-planes, trains, cars, ships etc.

سائنس انسانی زندگی کے لیے ایک نعمت ہے۔ اس نے ہمارے رہن سہن کے طریقے کو بدل دیا ہے اور اسے آرام دہ، تیز اور خوبصورت بنا دیا ہے۔  سائنسی ایجادات کی وجہ سے ہم وقت اور فاصلے پر فتح حاصل کرنے کے قابل ہو گئے ہیں۔ تیز ترین سفری ذرائع جیسے کہ ہوائی جہاز، ٹرین، گاڑیاں اور بحری جہازوں کی وجہ سے اب ہم لمبے فاصلے کم وقت میں محفوظ   اور آرام  کے ساتھ طے کر سکتے ہیں۔

The world has become a global village due to scientific inventions. Fast means of communication and information like internet, telephone, electronic media and televisions have removed geographic distances. Now, we can get any information within seconds using internet. By using telephone, we can talk to a person who is living far away from us. Computer is also a great invention of science. Computer is now playing an important role in almost every field of life. With the help of computer we can perform huge calculations in seconds.

سائنسی ایجادات کی وجہ سے دنیا عالمی گاوں بن چکی ہے۔ ابلاغ اور معلومات کے تیز ترین زرائع جیسے کہ انٹر نیٹ ، ٹیلیفون ، الیکٹرانک میڈیا کی وجہ سے جغرافیائی فاصلے مٹ گیے ہیں۔ اب ہم کوئی بھی معلومات انٹرنیٹ کے ذریعے سیکنڈوں میں حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ ٹیلیفون کے ذریعے ہم دور دراز رہنے والے فرد سے  بات کر سکتے ہیں۔ کمپیوٹر بھی سائنس کی ایک عظیم ایجاد ہے۔ کمپیوٹر زندگی کے تقریبا ہر شعبہ میں اہم کرادار ادا کر رہا ہے۔  کمپیوٹر کی مدد سے ہم پیچیدہ حساب کتاب سیکنڈوں مین کر سکتے ہیں۔

Another scientific invention is electricity. It is very useful to illuminate our home at night. Electricity has become life line of modern life. We depend upon machines and machines depend upon electricity and without electricity we cannot operate machines and other electronic gadgets.

دوسری سائنسی ایجاد بجلی ہے۔ یہ رات کو ہمارے گھروں  کو روشن کرنے میں کارآمد ہے۔ یہ جدید زندگی کی شہ رگ بن چکی ہے۔ ہمار انحصار مشینوں پر ہے اور مشینوں کا انحصار بجلی پر ہے۔ بجلی کے بغیر مشینیں اور دوسرے برقی آلات نہیں چل سکتے۔

Inventions in the field of medicine and surgery are a blessing of science. Now medicines can cure dangerous diseases. Operations and surgeries can be done without pain. Parts of human body can be easily replaced, transplanted and repaired.

میڈیکل کے شعبے میں سائنسی ایجادات بھی نعمت ہیں۔ اب ادوایات خطرناک بیماریوں کا  علاج کر سکتی ہیں۔  آپریشن اور سرجری بغیر درد و تکلیف کے کی جا سکتی ہیں۔ انسانی جسم کے اعضاء با آسانی تبدیل ، تنصیب اور مرمت کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔

On the other side, science has some negative aspects too. It has made a man materialistic and machine dependent.  Because of science, dangerous mass destructive weapons such as atomic bomb, chemical weapons, missiles etc. have been developed. Powerful countries use these weapons to kill innocent people.

دوسری طرف سائنس کے منفی پہلو بھی ہیں۔ اس نے انسان کو مادہ پرست اور مشین پر انحصار کرنے والا بنادیا ہے۔ سائنس کی وجہ سے انسانی تباہی کے خطرناک  ہتھیار جیسے کہ ایٹمی بم، کیمیائی ہتھیار اور میزائل وغیرہ وجود میں آچکے ہیں۔ طاقتور ممالک  معصوم لوگوں کو مارنے کے لیے ان ہتھیار کا استعمال کر رہے ہیں۔

Negative and excessive use of internet has also caused problems in society. Negative minded people are using internet in immoral and criminal activities. Excessive use of internet has made man less social and separated individuals from his family members.

انٹر نیٹ کے منفی اور بہت زیادہ استعمال نے بہت سے مسائل کو جنم دیا ہے۔ منفی سوچ کے حامل افراد انٹر نیٹ کو غیراخلاقی اور مجرمانہ سرگرمیوں کے لیے استعمال کر رہے ہیں۔ انٹرنیٹ کے بہت زیادہ استعمال نے انسان کو کم سماجی بنا   دیا اور اپنے گھر والوں سے دور کر دیا ہے۔

In the end I would like to conclude that science has brought great revolution in human life. It is one of the important factors which have brought us from Stone Age to machine age. With the inventions of machines, our life has become easy and fast. But on the other hand it has some disadvantages too. Science has made us lazy and machine dependent. Also, use of dangerous weapons is destroying humanity.

آخر میں میں یہ نتیجہ نکالتا ہوں کہ سائنس نے انسانی زندگی میں عظیم انقلاب برپا کیا ہے۔ یہ تمام اجزاء میں سے ایک اہم جز ہے جس نے ہمیں پتھر کے دور کی زندگی سے نکال کر مشینی زندگی میں لا کھڑا کیا ہے۔ سائنسی ایجادات کی وجہ سے ہماری زندگی آسان اور تیز ہو گئی ہے۔ لیکن دوسری طرف اس کے نقصانات بھی ہیں۔ سائنس نے ہمیں سُست اور  مشینوں پر انحصار کرنے والا بنا دیا ہے۔ اور خطرناک ہتھیار انسانیت کو تباہ کر رہے ہیں۔۔
